This guide describes how to use the bench cable for connecting to the ECU in the face-lifted CN7N.
Prerequisites:
- EK1 Pro, EK1 Lite, or EK1 Mini2+
- Bench cable
Calibration ID:
The same steps may be followed for obtaining your ECU calibration ID:

Once your ECU calibration ID is obtained, you will need to download a matching patch from the patch section: https://sxthnktuning.com/user/patch
Connecting and using the cable:
- Start by unplugging the main ECU connectors in the engine bay
- Remove the battery cable connections
- Connect the new bench cable connector to the ECU (it will only fit in one position)
- Attach the OBDII splitter with the DB11 connector, securing it tightly
- Connect your EK1 OBDII cable to the female OBDII adapter on the DB11 harness
- Attach the alligator clamp to the blue wire if your device has a blue wire on the OBDII cable
- Connect the positive (red) alligator clamp to the positive side of the vehicle battery
- Connect the negative (black) alligator clamp to the negative side of the vehicle battery
- Connect the cigarette style adapter to the alligator clamps
